It is necessary to clean jewellery regularly in order to maintain its sparkle and brilliance, whether the diamond is natural or a replica.
You should clean your stone with a mild liquid detergent, rather than with soap, and rinse it under lukewarm water. Do not use a toothbrush, use rather a soft natural bristle brush or a cloth, remembering to clean under the stone as well. Your stone's hardness is slightly less than a natural diamond (8.5 Mohs instead of 10 Mohs for a diamond). It is close to the hardness of a ruby or a sapphire, so you will treat your Keratia jewellery with the same care as if you were wearing one of these precious stones.
After wearing your jewellery, put it back in its box, separate from other jewellery items.
Our workshops are available to find answers to your wishes. Our master craftsmen are able to make any modification that you might consider. In the future, if you might like to replace your Keratia stone by a natural one, you would be able to keep the same mount, as all our mounts are crafted for fine jewellery.
